Tannoy Mercury V1 speakers very nice sound

Bought these speakers last week off eBay mint for £40 hooked them up to my old Nad 3020e and Technics PG4 CD player sounds very nice indeed as good as my old pageant 2 speakers which had developed faults

Yes I have front grills off as tannoy online advise me to do !

What was the problem with the Pageants? They're normally pretty reliable.

One speaker was badly distorting Geoff could be easy fix but large size was abit big in bedroom so alas I read reviews on Tannoys and glad I got them
