View Full Version : wanted celestion HF2000 tweeter
As above,picked up my ditton 44's today and ones blown,i get continuity but it only measures 1 on the meter,swapping it over to the other speaker and it still doesn't work....its buggered!

It's probably the fine lead out wire from the coil. It may be repairable.
Typical Ditton 44 problem. They crossover too low for the tweeter and the power handling is compromised.
falcon acoustics do a seas one thats suitable i believe. originals being hard to find i think
yes ive looked at them grant,they are the 8ohm version,i believe the 44's use a 4 ohm .
bloody nice sounding speakers though,im chuffed even one on its own sound good!

ive seen a guy on ebay selling new diaphragms, his are 8 ohms,would this matter alot?

Both pairs of 44's I have use a 4 ohm tweeter. You have PM.
