Naughty boys. Even using a Lampizator DAC. Copy cats. Some ideas definitely seem to be "inherited" from my Interstella specification.

Standing on the shoulders of giants, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, etc etc ... ;)

That's one way of looking at it I guess.

Unfortunately they have infringed my patent so they most definitely owe me $1,793,213 and 57 cents.:eyebrows::lol:

Care to elaborate? I've followed your Apogee rebuild thread but that was while ago. Not sure what's being copied and how this might be an infringement.

Well there is nothing to infringe as nothing is genuinely protected. Rear cross bracing philosophy and stands appear a bit close but not as well executed. Construction quality looks markedly inferior and there are two performance related issues I can see with the design, but I can't detail that here for one reason or another.

At least they haven't used the Apogee name as that is genuinely protected. It wouldn't be an issue I would have to handle. The Apogee name is owned by Graz who manufactures the ribbons in my speakers, and has been doing so for many years now.

Please note that is only my opinion with the limited knowledge I have at present.
