been out of the loop for many years re fault finding so asking the question re these. any cheapish usb scopes worth using on say a valve amp. want to get this fault fixed so i can move it on. lovely amp but have decided to go with my monoblocks.

You would be much better off with an old analogue scope. You can pick them up cheap these days.

cheers Jez..was thinking that myself after reading some info. long time since ive used one tbh....and memory is not great...old age is a bugger.. the usb ones seem to suffer from limited ability and terrible software.

I would not connect a USB scope to a valve amp myself. You could end up with a potential difference of about 120VAC between the earth of both items. Your PC might not survive the encounter.

well that doubly puts them out of the road...cheers Stan. if i cant find someone to fix them will look fix an analogue old type. ali is busy getting wed so hes out....
