As my speakers have to sit on top of the same unit as the rest of my system (for reasons of space and wife approval) I am looking for something to isolate them from the rest of the unit. Does anyone have any suggestions? Would I be best looking for a base, desktop stands, spikes, cones? Any suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks
Phil

Tennis balls cut in half.
Two at the back of the cabinet, one at the front.

If your wife objects to the appearance then use the rubber mats you have under your feet in cars, cut to shape of course.
If she objects to that it is time to tell her who wears the trousers in your relationship [ha ha ha].

Bright star isonodes will do the trick they are available at absolute analogue.
I use these on my system with excellent results.
