Hi Folks,
I have my Bushmaster MK11 for sale and as you can see from the photos is in mint condition with no marks or blemishes (it doesn't come with a power supply but if you need one I can supply one) . The reason for the sale it is that I bought Stan's Caiman MK11 and I was going to use BM MK11 in a 2nd system which hasn't materialised. This is a superb sounding DAC for the money and Im sure if you invest a further £20 in Stan's upgrade firmware chip it will bring it up to another level ;) Im looking for £125 including 1st class signed postage either Paypal gift or bank transfer please.
Many thanks for looking

Hi
Have you used any headphones with it? I used to have a Bushmaster II and upgraded to a Caiman II, trouble is, when using my Sennheiser HD650's, have to turn the volume up to full. Very dissapointed.

Hi Darran,
I don't use headphones, just purely as a DAC.

Hi Marty
Thanks for the reply. Anyone else use HD650's or similar on the Bushmaster II?

Why are you disappointed? I can easily adjust the SPL out on the Caiman if you send it to me. Just let me know how loud you need it.

Hi Stan
I'm disappointed because I have to turn the volume to full to get the volume I need. I did start a thread on Beresford Banter to this effect. You never mentioned that the output could be adjusted.

I'd like it that at just over half volume it would be loud enough. This is roughly what I get from my iFI Audio iDSD Micro headphone amp/dac, iUSB and iCAN setup with HD650's. It seems to work well allowing for extra volume for quieter tracks.

Glad the member wanting customer service advice on your sales thread didn't harm the sale!
I also was under the Before the Dawn sign like you! Did I get a ticket? No... Met a dutch guy though who was going for the third time :(

Hi Sam,
That's a shame you couldn't get a ticket, only manage one ticket myself and I was saying to johnB who bought this Bushmaster and managed to see Kate that I was very overwhelmed and emotional (51 year old man crying) at actually seeing Kate in the flesh and hearing her singing songs I have been playing since I was a young lad. When I got back home to Skye I couldn't play any Kate Bush CD's for a month as I didn't want to defuse any memories of the concert. Still waiting for the DVD to come out.
Cheers for now
Marty :D
