I fancy trying a different Arm and currently have 1 on hold for me.

I'm not 100% sure if the price is correct but I'm sure you good fellows will guide me on this.
I will take some more detailed pictures when i get some time but as you can see from the photo's It's in excellent condition and everything working as it should.

No original box or booklet I'm afraid but i will pack this very secure in another.

I bought this from Tim (Captain Tidy) in April this year and it was supplied with the original SME cable will be included but this has been cut in order to allow it to be soldered to the phono jacks.

PS: I know the bedplate is the wrong way, I've just not got round to spinning it :o

£220+delivery paid via PPG please.

As I've said if my pricing is incorrect please please let me know.

If you've sold it in thirty minutes I'd say your pricing was pretty good.

If it sold for your asking price someone got a very good deal.
I sold the same for more just about 3 months ago.

I'm hoping so Adam. I just want to try other arms, I've only ever had 2 SME 3009's and a Rega RB250.

Obviously the deck architecture will play it's part but IME the Onyx is a huge upgrade over the 250 and a decent step up from the 3009. As much as I utterly despise the company with a passion I can't deny that the Alliance, Onyx & Silver arms (all of which I've owned) punch well above their price tags.

Why? In fact, who makes these arms?

Origin Live.
Arrogance, complete disdain for any product they don't stock & general lack of professionalism.

I have the same arm on my TD124... One thing I recommend is to send it to Audio Origami for a re-wire, full service and bearing check. Superb service and the sound quality is staggering.

I'd also recommend keeping the original plug as it's still of superb quality, just needs cleaning of which will also be done by AO.
