'Scuse my iggerance sur......is there a reason behind this configuration?

I once had a filter device that was a similar thing, I assume?

The primary idea is that it is star earthed - there is no smoothing or filtering. The same principles are applied to the construction of many audiophile mains distribution blocks - the difference here is that it is hard wired so doesn't need plugs and sockets (and therefore costs considerably less). This system works very well with Naim gear.

tks Mark --- it works well and is a good way of getting a quality cable instead of buying 3 individual ones - and a bit neater too --- I have got myself a 4 plug version so this is no longer needed but you can see it is in good condition
