Hi

I´m in the process of getting rid of tons of stuff cause we´re rebuilding our house and can´t store the things anymore, not a bad thing at all, all these things just take up a lot of space and time (moving them around).

However, I´m letting go of one pair of loudspeakers, Radionette TK20S, see images below. My question to the vast knowledge out there in cyberspace is: Are these rarities? Should I sell them on e-bay or give them away to someone with a special interest (you perhaps?) so that they don´t just end up in the second hand store and are lost and forgotten?

I´m a very great fan of re-using things, you just have to find the right person for each item, instead of throwing away and buying new stuff all the time, therefore I´m willing to do an extra effort and try to find a new friendly home for these speakers. What do you say?

Thanks in advance

Rock on!

heard of the maker think they are Norwegian, but no idea if they are worth anything tbh. Look at ebay in noway of sweden and see if there are any sets sold recently.:)

Thanks struth for your answer, good idea, funny I didn´t think that far myself as I went online to find information about the speakers and found this forum.... Anyway, not much on e-bay/tradera (swedish site)/blocket (another swedish site). Found one (1) ad mentioning the speakers and they wanted 450 sek (ca 45 euro), i.e. not muck of rarities.

I still have the speakers so if anyone wants them they´re up for grabs! For free as long as you plan on using and enjoying them, listening or rebuilding or anything that makes them live and play again :guitar:

Rock on!

They are rarities. Extremely musical and efficient drivers of a style not easily found these days. Possibly AlNiCo magnets which are considered exotic and expensive now. A high Qms cone made by SEAS and SEAS cone tweeters too.

If you know what you are doing with them, they can sound VERY GOOD indeed. Solavox TK 19S and Radionette TK 18S and TK 20S made by Tandberg were all similar.

Troles Gravesen does things with them here: http://www.troelsgravesen.dk/blackcones.htm

Building some alnico's myself Steve. Some good info there you've given Staffen. Maybe he would now think of doing them up himself. Otherwise I suggest you try selling them. Bound to get something for them. they look pretty deceny cabs so the coils could well be good too.
