Is it just me or has anyone else wondered why Goldfrapp has never been asked to perform a James Bond song? i do admit to being totally beguiled and to a point smitten but as good as Adele me seem to a lot of people Goldfrapp have the whole package in spades. Just saying! :scratch:

I've always wondered that since Felt Mountain. That album had some great Bondesque melodies that could have really made a great bond theme.

But no.. they always get some cheesy band/song to do it these days. Nothing like Bassy, McCartney or Duran Duran. Probably not worth the outlay after the mega budget of the film being spent on the cast.

I can imagine them getting Bassy to do another one though, it's just predictable. It would probably be good but rather tiresome.

So, yes... Goldfrapp would make a superb bond theme IMO.... I'm a big fan and I love Tales of Us.

Other contenders of mine is Pulp/Jarvis Cocker or Roisin Murphy.
