I've seen some good gear go for relatively small sums. Most recently I've seen the following
Mission 752 Freedoms, described as pristine, (pictures showed that), in Primavera Oak - £127
Mission 752 Freedoms - Black ash, very good condition, minor marks £51 :eek: I have a pair of these in near mint condition and they are lovely speakers.
Now the ones that got away and really really hurt!! - Spendor S8e, in cherry finish, in excellent condition...... £570 :eek: :eek: Now these retailed at around £2300 and are said to be very good speakers indeed. These are the same as the ones Clive has up for sale here. I went to bid in the dying moments and my internet which had been playing up died. Gut wrenchingly painful at the time :(
