Hi
I am re arranging my hifi and I realise I have some reasonable cables but they are all too long and as well as presumably reducing performance slightly - the cables are in a mess and I would like to streamline and make four 0.5/6m pairs out of two 1 m-ish pairs.
In short I'd like to cut cables in half and have someone re terminate the cut end for me --- all I want is plugs to be non locking as I am not a fan of them but apart from that I'm happy to be guided as to RCA connectors within an agreed budget.
I will ofcourse compensate anyone for their time and skills.
My intention would be to post the cables to the solderman or indeed lady - I am an equal opportunities DIY neanderthal ( unless someone lives close to me in North Essex CO6 ) and have them post them back to me.
I would cover all costs for materials and postage plus an agreed fee - would a fee of £40 for all the soldering be about right ? ----- please message me if the 'job' appeals ---
