After the last 8 months i have been told to take a holiday to improve my health
so in order to help fund it i will be selling all the bits of hifi i have collected over the years in two job lots.
one with cables and this one would cd players and a sacd player and some speakers.
sorry for a picture heavy thread btw.
my av amps and av speakers i may post but not sure if such a thing would interest anyone as none of them are what you would call high end though they will be just £50.
The mordaunt short mezzo i bought from new,they have a little tear in one of the speaker grills as shown in one of the pictures
and on one drive unit are some small dents that i was unable to catch in my picture,they were there when i bought them.
the speakers work fine and i'm only selling as i need the holiday otherwise i would keep them in the bedroom
i want £45 for them with a fiver of that £5 going to rowans
as i have the original box and foams ect posting is no problem.
all these cd players play discs fine though the cambridge one has a dodgy display.
sometimes it only works with a tap on the top.
the sony sacd player is senstive with non sacd discs that are not clean.
more so then regular players but it sounds amazing.
the last player the Philip's one i bought from the audio jumble store of beoguy(adam, a top guy and good company ) store.
he was selling it for another guy whose name i have forgotten, this guy wrote for a hifi magazine like Adam.
the player is pretty much mint, comes in it's original box with remote.
the tangent also comes in it's original box with remote although the case is not mint
the other cd players do not comes with original boxes nor do they come with remotes, i use a logix universal remote.
they all have marks apart from the nad from when they were in my rack before and then stored in my cupboard.
they are not mint but all play discs fine.
the nad though as pictures show is in very good nick, it also has a really smooth disc draw.
I want £100 for the cd players and sacd player though i will give £10 to the Rowans hospice though the buyer can give the tenner themselves if they wish http://www.rowanshospice.co.uk
the rowans gets no money apart from donations and the service they provide is amazing.
home made soup and fresh food cooked and bill was even able to have food whenever he wanted some.
he had his own room looking onto the garden.
when someone you loves gets such kind care in their last weeks it very much helps when you lose them.
you would think such care would get some funding but sadly not.
regarding delivery,it is possible but due to the weight and the fact that i have no printer it is best you arrange the courier as parcel force will be around £15-£20 per item and i have no bubble wrap so you will need to send me some, i can be in for your courier or you can collect and hear them all working.
In the pictures i took, I took some of the inside of the sony as i do think it looks lovely.
