carpet laying HA!!!!

The one I am covering over is buggered and hard in places due to spillage over the years :eyebrows: going to leave it as underlay and the one I am putting down is too small anyways. I will get away with it and anyways its a spare room now. no one will be in it much unless I start to use it as a wee studio instead of the shed.
Just doing it bit by bit but getting there and as long as my puffers dont run out I should live.:eyebrows:

lol. yep, I kinda planned that approach :eyebrows: was boiling up so went out in the rain to get some tools. has helped, and I am a bit further on. Jope I dont need a piss or itll have to be out the window...Garde loo :eek:

All my limbs are kinda fully functional and I wouldnt even comtemplate doing something like this on my own
I got a proffesional in to put new laminate flooring in my front room yesterday took him less than three hours!
need to get a new comfy chair and then I can the start getting some serious listening done

I like a challenge, so I do all mine. Recently laid laminate in the living room with ALL the furniture in situ. That was fun. No choice though, nowhere else to put the room contents. It came out well though.

just what im doing beer and dram then more water. dehydrated. most of the stuff has been clashed in for now. I will tidy it tomorrow if I can move. lol. Its a lot better than it was but still some work to do. might even get it painted....not me, but my daughter or he hubby seen as I did the carpet.

Ta Bev :)The wall beside the bed is brown. thats a mixture of tea and fag reek. she smoked a lot and her nerve problem caused her to jump. I could never get her out of that bed long enough to do anything about it....ah dear:(....... it will look better when it gets painted. Daughter says they'll do it...cream I think will be the colour. Not sure if the bed will stay. might get rid and turn it into a houwf :eyebrows:

Its got paint on it anyways and needs a clean too. it was in the grandkids room lol. it was cheap(aka free) and much better than the threadbare one. as I say I couldnt get her out long enough to do anything meaningful.might as well do it now, and that will see me out I guess. Might put a stereo in there:eyebrows:

If you ask me to do stuff on cars or boats then I'm not too bad but decorating and such is just not my bag I'm afraid :(

Don't like painting much but wallpapering I do like.... coving is quite good fun too............. basic carpet fitting is not difficult, it just takes nerve
