Just wondered if anyone can recommend a rewire service for my RB250? The usual suspects i know would be AO and OL. However, the OL rewires always seem a little in yer face for my liking and i would prefer a rewire that would be a little smoother. Any suggestions?:)

jelco sa-750d? best thing you can do with a rega ;)
otherwise, audio origami every time....... if you can do it yourself there are some nice rewire kits on ebay for around £60ish though. i'd just break it!

Has anyone ever done Blind testing on this?
Incognito rewire, which uses Cardas copper wire, superb!
i had one of their 250 rewires, very good
i'm using a 300 now that has not be rewired but to my ears that rewired 250 beats it hands down.
my friend has a higher model ol arm and it sounds amazing, not bright or in your face.

+1 for audio origami
Johnny rewired my Technoarm and improved it a lot.

The AO rewire should be great and I can vouch for Moth Marketing's Mike Harris, who did/does the Incognito harness and had the training and jigs from Rega to properly rebuild an RB arm's bearings (more important on an RB300 type).

Quite so. It's a bit difficult to say which is best if you haven't heard them all. I am very happy with my Origin Live modded RB250. Wiring and all the usual physical stuff. Sounds very good indeed with the Technics EPC205. Compared with the others? Haven't a clue.

I've an OL RB250 that's better all round than a RB300 that I used to have, but maybe that's not entirely helpful.
