Grant your wish is my command... I will write up a comparison between the Klipsch and the 800's.... it's about time I did that anyway but enjoying the Tannoy's so much not wanted to switch back to be honest...

Always tempted to buy a set of the newer klipsch speakers, but not so far. maybe if I sell the Tannoys I will.

What, making notes? I always forget to do that. It didn't help my academic career at all, because I relied entirely on memory and never wrote anything down. My memory turned to to be not as good as I thought it was.

I have NEVER made notes before when comparing hifi bits but I thought this would be a very tricky comparison, which is exactly how it has turned out to be, so I thought making notes as I listen would be the best bet...

You have to bare in mind that I LOVE my Klipsch so any other 'upstart' speaker was always going to be up against it to be honest.... ;)

That Tannoy pointsource imaging is addictive. You get used to being able to almost 'see' where each sound is. How do the Heresys compare?

You are correct on the Tannoy's being addictive Geoff... that's about the best I would describe them in one hit !!
