Another Ebay valve seller cock up

What is it with ebay valve sellers..again i get the wrong valve! dont they ever read the order. i order and pay handsomely for a mullard pcc85 and what do I get! ... a cheap mazda ecl86.
have sent him a message and will see what he says b4 i name and shame.:eyebrows:

yes for the fb Alan.thought id upgrade the valves. 2 mullards and a telefunken. the guy thinks he has mixed up the packets doh

I've bought loads off ebay over the years and never really had a problem. Apart from a full refund on some 6X5 rectifiers a few months ago. Then again he did say they might not work:D

However with vinyl I gave up very quickly - just lie upon lie (or exaggeration) about the condition.

Happened to me in the states just 2 months ago,seller made it right, 2 of the 6 valves where wrong in the boxes.
Seller refunded for 2 after I paid to ship them back.
The 2 I shipped back were more expensive tubes I could have used,so in a sense I paid shipping to be honest and came out $9.00-.
Then I found a really good seller of valves who gave me a great deal, so karma made it right in the end.

as promised an update.. my pcc85 finally arrived via a roundabout route and costs picked up by the seller so hat off to britishrecords for sorting out the cockup without any argument.
It serves as a reminder to all when sending more than one item at once to triple check the right item to address before sealing the package
