A planned change in CDP direction means that my Simaudio Moon Nova CDP (with power lead) & heavyweight Moon FRM-2 remote are now surplus to my current requirements. This is a heavy beast, weighing it just over 8kg and the remote isn't for the faint hearted either at 14oz! It has BNC & XLR digital outputs, so I'll also throw in a 1m Mark Grant G1000HD BNC to RCA digital coax cable (worth £27.50) and a 1m Mark Grant XLR to XLR Canare L4E6AT star quad balanced cable (worth £26 but not included in the photos) both free of charge.

A good review on what at the time (2003) was a $3000 CDP can be found here (http://www.soundstage.com/revequip/simaudio_nova.htm)

I'm looking for £600 firm, which will include free mainland UK shipping
I don't have the original box or instructions, but she will be securely packed and fully insured.
Payment via PayPal Gift, bank transfer or cash on collection from SE London/Surrey/CR5 (10mins from Jct 6 on the M25)

Cheers
Pete

Nice CD player. Bargain for £600

Sim Audio gear is extremely good but a bit underated in the UK but regardless of some folks disinterest this brand offers something fairly unique even handed, very musical equipment that is neither bright or etched or bland and boring but neither is it neutral in the usual sense of the word. For many neutral now days is forward and lean, hyper detailed but Moon gear has all the detail but presents it in a very musical way, its not machine gunned at you but revealed smoothly.

I love my Andromeda which makes music.

Good luck with the sale.

Regards Neil

Many thanks chaps... if it wasn't for a need to play discs other than normal CD's, she'd be staying firmly put on my rack... so my loss will be somebodies gain :)
