I have collected these and wired them up today :)
.
The cabinets are sealed and are fitted with some cheap ( original doorbell wire speaker cables )
.
Advertised on eBay as follows " Pair if Wooden Boxed Philips Floor speakers. My father spend a fortune on them when they were new in the 1970's and they are still great speakers. Unfortunately he passed away last year and we have no use for them so reluctantly selling "
I have my Pioneer PL 570X TT in the system into my Albarry AP11 pre through the Albany phono stage and I have used a Stanton 500 / AT120E and a Ortofon VMS3 Mk11 Cartridges all with similar results
Early days yet but so far my opinion is as follows
Percussion / cymbals / triangle sound good
Sibilance is pronounced ( not good :( )
Guitar / Sax brass is also good , However the mid and base are both lacking :( . I have not yet wired these through that Audio Innovations 500 amp that is 4Ohm compatible , being a valve amp of the correct loading may help ?
My woofers are not acting like the ones in this Youtube video , They may do with the AI 500 ,time will tell

Tarzan arrived this afternoon and his opinion was that the sounded like Sh-t  , I asked Tarzan where were they lacking ?
The reply was " EVERYWHERE " :D
M rAndy has lived with his Harbeths now for 10 years so is blinkered and is happy 2 go with the pipe and slippers reputation that Harbeths have
I will try these with the AI500 amp and pop the speakers out of the cabs and run a meter over them and a visual look at the xovers
Not taking them 2 the landfill site just yet
More 2 follow soon :D
