Pre amp??

i have a modest system purely for vinyl in my office. A Pro ject genie 3, Denon PMA520AE amp and Dali Zensor 1 speakers. I've been 'sold the sizzle' on a Rega fono MM mk2 phono stage but don't know if it would make any difference? I don't mind spending the money so long as I can hear an improvement. There's also a Pro ject phono box mk2 which is less than half the price. Possibly this may be a better solution for my set up. Any advice greatly received.

The Project is competetent. I've never heard the Rega. If it is for an office system (background listening mainly I would guess) I don't see the point in spending the extra, myself.

It comes it goes Andrew:), I'd stick with what you have for now, get to know that amp a bit better first. I say this knowing its hard having an itch and not giving it a good scratch!!

Get a Schiit Mani. good solid amp that puches way above its £120 new price imo:) ..not trieds the other 2 but the mani is close to my firebottle
