Rotel RA 960BX 2 Integrated Amplifier for sale, £110 and £15 POSTAGE
Selling this for my brother as he has bought an all in one system so he no longer needs this, He bought it new in 1994 and its in perfect condition as it never got used much as he used to work away a lot, Boxed with instructions, It is 60watts per channel and also has a very good phono stage, 8 speaker outputs so it can be biwired
It cost £300 new as I was with him when he bought it, Its never been over 1/4 volume as it was used in a bedroom, but has plenty of power so you will need a good pair of speakers if you want to hear it at its best,
bit of a bargain as Good amps are not cheap nowadays, It also has a very good headphone amp compared to my Marantz pm6005 which is pretty rubbish compared to this, The BX range from what I remember were fitted with better quality parts than the AX and most people who bought them thought they were the best compared to similar priced gear.
I have just checked it before boxing it and there is some cracks in the lower plastic panel around one of the feet which he has glued back together and seems fine and in no way effects the amp, just being honest
So a true classic which are hard to find nowadays and if I did not have my Marantz I would buy this as its that good,
