I have some Ditton 44's and swapped out the tweeters for the sake of comparing the Seas replacements if that's any kind of reason. Tweaked the XO sounds great.
I would like to keep the HF's but the card ring that surrounds the coil is warping so that it's raised, maybe 5mm in places.
There is little to glue it to at the edge the card is pretty stiff, so I'm not sure it would hold. I could replace the whole card and coil assembly but the unit that is sold for that is 6 ohm against these 4 ohm types.
Is it a cosmetic problem? What's best done with these?
