Hi to all.

A new member from London.

I used to have a dream system of a Naim Nac52, Nap 250, CDX and HiCap. Then I lost my shirt on shares, got married, so downsized to a Yamaha mini HiFi and Q Acoustics 2020i. Upgraded to a Marantz MCR603 and Q Acoustics Concept 20. The Marantz Q Acoustics systems is very good and very versatile, as I now have nearly all my CD collection on HD and love Internet radio. Now looking looking to build a separate system based on vinyl (on a budget!). Picked up an Onkyo A9030 for £120 at Richer sounds and a pair of Yamaha NSF-700 for AV on line for £280. Just the Turntable left!

Hi Denis. Welcome to AOS.

Building a new system from scratch can be a road full of pitfalls unless you're sure where you're headed. I'm sure our members can help out. Start a thread in the Blank Canvas area and outline your ideas. You'll get plenty of replies.

Also, tell us about your music tastes.

Enjoy the forum,
Geoff.

Welcome to AoS Denis.

Starting all over again with vinyl replay will be an interesting project. Tell us what you look for in an audio system (is it the same as would be provided by a Naim system?) and I'm sure you will get plenty of advice from our very knowledgable members.

Good luck with the search

Regards
Barry
