HELLO MEMBERS :)
Decide 2 have a go at getting this cassette player working so had a play and a tinker inside with the mains :eek: disconnected ;)
Found out the the problem was solidified grease on the cassette transport ( the play lever would not go down ) A quick clean of the transport and all was freed up , It will need new belts as 2 of the 3 inside are somewhat slack , The belt kit is on order from Germany and will be fitted when it arrives , will also clean the heads
I just love the action of the cassette door and the way the tape is loaded and ejected AWSOM :eyebrows: Also the huge VU meters ;)
All is well at the moment and I have so far listened 2
