The Pioneer PL-71 has tiny clearance for RCA sockets, so £3.99 later and I have an RCA cable from a phone shop.
I missed vinyl and it's good to have it back without connection issues from today's interconnects. The £3.99 cable by no means impedes on the system, arguably a bit of icing on the cake in contention with the fancy interconnects.
Cables make a bit of a difference, will switch them (the existing NVA SSC output RCA connections) out for my LFD Grainless in a few weeks... they never make or break a system.
