Hi Guys, I've decided to sell my Harbeth speakers which are in the premium Rosewood finish and come with Harbeth owner's certificate, manual and makers box & packaging.
I bought these speakers from a wammer last October and I absolutely love them but I really can't justify keeping them as most of my listening these days is via internet radio which is generally low quality 128kbs streams.
I bought these speakers mainly because of their reputation for low level volume listening and they deliver that in spades, they really are wonderful speakers and I'll be sorry to see them go but I really do have to be realistic so I'm going to look for something a bit less expensive that suits my listening habits although I know that I've no chance of beating the Harbeths with some of the low priced speakers available these days.
The speakers are in absolutely mint as new condition and have never been driven hard by me and of course they sound wonderful with any type of music you throw at them.
I believe that speakers are about two and a half years old and that I'm the third owner.
I paid £1040 for them delivered from England but the seller paid about £30 towards the cost of postage which was about £70 inc insurance in total so I'm looking for £1000 plus postage to anywhere, UK/worldwide but please be aware that insured postage costs for this sort of value is quite high (as above), obviously I would prefer local pick up and I am open to reasonable offers around my asking price.
The stands in the photos may be for sale too along with the granite plinths and the speaker base cone so if someone wants the whole package then please ask for a price.
I bought the stands from Jason in the thread below, the stands are half filled with atabites BTW
Payment for the speakers by cash or bank transfer only I'm happy to take a personal cheque however the cheque will have to clear before the speakers are posted/handed over.
No paypal gift or paypal.
Thanks
Tony
