a more 'venerable' newcomer here
lived in Vancouver Canada 1966 to 1986 and built a complete Sansui system
yes i could buy 'new' in those days ..:eyebrows:
110V so left behind when i [foolishly] returned to the UK
initially living in a small flat, I bought a B&O Beomaster - which died about 10years ago
and with the cost of repair - i gave it a rest
anyway........
Some years later, my late father left me a large collection of classical LPs
and i decided to hear these records again
so i recently bought a Rotel RA-931 mkII 30W integrated amplifier
with a Pioneer PL-514 turntable
and a Marantz CD-48
all to go with the two old B&O BEOVOX speakers
so a very modest beginning again - but I'm enjoying it ..!
now retired to a small cottage on a farm in SW Scotland - no neighbours = bliss
hope to join in - but on a non-technical basis...:)..................john
