Any who now the right value of the crossover resistor, in the heybrook hb3 series2

That looks like a resistor about half way up the board on the right hand side. If it is, then it looks like the type that would usually have the value printed on it rather than coloured bands.

Ah, I see which one now, on the image it looked like a polystyrene capacitor, though that seemed odd.

The value is almost certainly printed on the resistor, probably on the underside where you cant see it. You will have to unsolder one leg and lift it, or try to rotate the resistor so you can seen the printed value.

Will more than likely be in the form of 2R2 (equal to 2.2 ohms) or another value xRx, or 10R (equal to 10 ohms) or a value xxR.

I am struggling to find oem crossover scheme or values ,I bought hb3 mk2 2 days ago,and find that inside are sony e71 crosses...����
Can someone help to share original scheme ?

No its not as straight forward as that. Why i always tell people to keep the original Inductors when rebuilding..

Your best bet maybe to contact shane, He worked for heybrook when the 'HB-3' was in production. The S1 & S2 crossovers should be the same..

No, you also need the series resistance of the inductors.

I have a gadget to measure inductors but I will have to desolder them to do it :(

I see Paul at Reference Fidelity Components has done upgraded crossovers for Heybrook HB3s. However, please don’t expect him to tell you the circuit, or give out component information/advice, for free as this is his business.
I sent mail, paul said that he worked hb3s but he dont have values and schematic for it...and cant remember where he install modified crossover’s.
If he asked for money,it is no problem(longlive good old pay pal) ...but he doesn’t...


And i wanna thanks puffin for unselfish help and try!!
