Hi everybody
correct, I´ve a lot to do´s in the near future,
first at all, I have to establishe properly working stereo gear, getting directly connection of Oppo 105D via xlr or rca to Parasound power amp A21 (or A23) and driving of my future purchase target - speakers from Nubert, NuVero110.
Which connectors (unbalanced/balanced) I ´m gonna use (Oppo/A21), depends of A21 gain and given Vrms from Oppo self,
I have to try a different configurations as well (will see)
Next step will be evaluation of passive preamp solutions, maybe as simple DIY project, I thought about switched (stepped) attenuator (eg DACT, Khozmo), LDR (DIY Tortuga), but I am not sure how it will affect the SQ

Parasound P7 (analogue preamp) is also very interested device as well, is giving a lot but cost is >3000$, have to think about it too,
Playing of records by turntable+preamp, is in any case desired too.

God, my wife will not be happy at all,

as I am a new kid in the town, is there some threads about DIY passive preamps?

By the way, Oppo 105D does not have any physical volume knob on case, I can controll volume by remote and it works very fine,
But, I do not like buttons, I like to turn knob with my fingers, so there is an very nice remote solution done by devialet
(http://en.devialet.com/expert/#models/expert-range/le-400/),
Such of device will fine, anybody did some DIY project in this direction?

thanks and rg vienna

No malice meant in my original post, more of a play on words, or lyrics.
