I just registered and want to write something about myself.

I'm one of those old dinosaurs who grew up buying records and dreamed watching all the Hi-Fi glittering stuff I couldn't then afford.

Now I have 2 turntables (a CEC DD and highly modified Thorens 160), half a dozen of various cartridges, from the Sumiko Blue Point 2, Shure 91ED to the exquisite Denon 103 modified by Torlai, Classè CDP1 for my digital needs, a Tascam Mk102II for casual listening cassettes, a recapped Marantz 2265 and a pair of AVID 330.

My SW consists in about 700 LP, less than 300 CD, maybe 200 cassettes, some original, some recorded.

Yes some nice gear you have there. Are you using the original arm on your TD160, or have you replaced it? Both the Sumiko Blue Point and the Denon 103 are excellent cartridges.

What are your tastes in music?
