It started here... http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1828

Back in January Primalsea suggested the idea of a Library collecting useful reference materials and information into one place, easily accessible and properly organised.

It's only taken 8 months, but at last, we're pleased to be able to say that The AOS Library is ready to welcome it's first visitors!

At least it will at 8pm tomorrow, the 11th September. Make it a date to remember ;)

The Library will be available to all Registered Members, so if you're not a member, and are curious as to what it's all about, sign up.

The Library is a dynamic thing and we're hoping that members will have content that they will want to contribute. Ideas are great, but real hard content is what we need. Just keep it factual and referenced. It's a Library afterall!

I'll post more about how the Library will work tomorrow and in coming days. In the meantime, I'd just like to say a massive Thank You to Chris (Grand Wazoo) and Barry (... D. Hunt) for their fantastic support and work pulling together really great features to allow The Library to open with some interesting and meaty content from the get-go.

See you tomorrow at 8pm!

I'm pleased to say that The Art Of Sound Library is now Live!

It can be reached via a link at the bottom of the main Forum Index (http://theartofsound.net/forum/index.php), via 'The Afficionado's Arena (http://theartofsound.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=9)' or directly, via this link:

I will be posting up some notes about how we're thinking of running the Library over the next few days, including how you can get involved.

Have a good look around. Do bear in mind there's much more to be done, and some areas are covered in more depth than others... but over time it should expand in depth and coverage. With the help of our excellent members, of course!
