Help please SLS Loudspeakers PRD100 ribbon tweeter needed

Anyone point me in the right direction for a pair of SLS PRD100 ribbon supertweeters after an unfortunate accident with a metal tape measure end and the incredibly strong magnets on these tweeters, needless to say the tweeter lost the first round by a complete knockout:(

I have just spent a fruitless hour searching the net to no avail so someone with a bit more net savvy than me may have better luck

A single unit would do

Any help would be greatfully appreciated

Hmm.... just googled them and within 30 seconds got this page at least :lol: Google images is a great way of searching.

EDIT: Just looked more closely at the above Russian website and it actuall is just a link to an Ebay sale (one of those websites which gets internet traffic and hence advertising by showing ebay searches). Here is the ebay listing it refered to, a Chinese manufactured item:

None at Parts express (was a different ribbon tweeter photo).

I actually found someone in Hong Kong who wanted over £300 for a pair:eek: bloody chancer!

I hope it all works out well, easy to replace. Thing is, once a manufacturer get's their name emblazened on them like SLS, a US company, then suddenly they are considered bespoke, rare units for a great set of SLS speakers. Suddenly their "made in China" origins are forgotten and a hefty price tag added.

Thank goodness for Chinese guys taking a few products off the production line and selling them themselves at the manufacturers prices I say..

Just to be an annoying nerd, they are planar (isodynamic) tweeters, not true ribbons. I happen to like both types.

Whereas once anything with a "made in Taiwan" label was to be avoided like the plague :wheniwasaboy:we now quite happily beat a path to their door without a second thought, funny how times change!
