a couple of years ago i bought a NAD PP2 phono stage for the princely sum of £48 and (like KK ) think that it is the best bargain in hi-fi (even more than the NAD 3020) i have listened to phono stages costing 4 and 8 times as much as the NAD and although tere is some improvement over the NAD , i cannot hear enough improvement to warrant spending silly money to replace it. i suppose i will replace it someday , but i am perfectly happy to listen to my vinyl through this simple little black box

Well actually it's an EMT 155st. The EMT139 is thought to be much better though.
