Due to a forthcoming house move I have to sell my JR149 speakers.

These are early red logo Mk1s. They have been sensitively restored and should be good for another 40 years.

The matched wooden tops have a lovely patina. They are in very good original condition with only a few very minor blemishes that do not detract from their appearance.

The KEF T27 tweeters and B110 mid-bass drivers are all in perfect working order.

The crossovers have been professionally recapped by Retro Reproductions in Edinburgh using a Falcon Acoustics JR149 capacitor kit.

The grilles are new.

The JR149s look great, sound just as they should and can be auditioned in Edinburgh.

Priced at £330 plus p&p or near offer. Original JR wall brackets are available if you need them. Price to be negotiated.

NB the sub-woofer in the photos has already been sold.

Coo - nice, I'm surprised these haven't been snapped up.

Price seems fair for a refurbed pair as well.

Are the stands included or separately available?

Thanks Jerry. I would prefer to keep the stands but if a local buyer really wanted them then I may relent :)

I like the way you got in a picture on the TV of a presenter also sitting at a JR sub inspired desk! And that's a good way to prevent moisture getting into your cassettes.. but don't cook them too much.
