I have for sale a pair of floorstanding speakers fitted with a SEAS tweeter an Vifa mid/bass driver.The manufacturer (well known on ebay) uses expensive crossover parts but I haven't opened them up to confirm this.
I bought them second hand to see what could be achieved by going down the home made route and have been hugely impressed with them.
The overall impression is one of control-there is no 'chuffing' from the port but the bass is well defined. The SEAS tweeters are well known and have an excellent reputation.
The cabinets are in very good nick with no scratches or dings in the wood finish but there is the faintest hint of a tea cup stain on the top of one speaker. One aluminium adjustment knob didn't make it to my house and has been replaced with a similar aluminium tone control.
Yours for £150. No boxes so collection preferred and can be listened to if you want. Could sort out meeting up-say 30 miles from Ormskirk. 14740
