I find myself astonished to have been living in (mostly) peace and harmony with the same woman for more that the previous record of three years. Even more astonishing of course, is that she has put up with me for the same length of time.

Who said miracles don't happen?

We had the choice of really pushing the boat out today by going out to eat - fish and chips - or having some fillet steak a la Steadman and a bottle of champers. Ronnie chose the latter so I'm getting my chef's hat ready for later.

Twenty years for us first meeting at end of July (Bird & Bush in Luton - how romantic :lol:). So much has happened to us in that time it seems a bit of a whirlwind and our sixteen year old lad is now doing his GCSE's.

Well done Gordon and all the best for many more happy years together. You should get out and eat more though if you can - helps keep us sane, believe me... Doesn't have to be the kind of gourmet meal Marco favours either - a shared bowl of chips and a cuppa down the 'Ferry on a lovely day can be just the thing (you don't want your tummy too full - cough... ;)).

I've just been informed that, after our gordon blue lunch, we are off to visit a place that takes in ex police horses to save them from the knackers. Ho hum, I was going to play with my new record player. So much for peace and harmony:lol:
