Hi
A friend of mine is after a cheapish analogue set-up, budget around £500. So we are looking for a good budget TT like a Rega P2/3, a good integrated amp with a built in phono stage and some speakers not unlike Wharfedale Diamonds. Does anyone have all or some of these items for sale preferably in the south of England so I can collect?
Pm please
I'm in Bristol so although South of England not that convenient but as I've now just about settled on my vintage system and need to offload some stuff I'll start off anyway. Might be a bit lower spec than you are looking for with a £500 budget.
Rega Planar 2 turntable - nice condition although some small scratches to lid, glass platter, steel (I think) counterweight. The person who sold it to me said it was a tungsten counterwight but it is a screw counterweight and looking into online it I think it's just laquered steel which was available on early models. Goldring Elektra cartridge, don't know how much use but sounds really good to me. Was tempted to keep it but I think a Sansui sr 222 I was given better suits the look I'm going for. -£140
Amp Pioneer SA7300 - £80, thought I had sold this but person didn't turn up (from Gumtree not here) have had other interest on Gumtree but had decided to keep it and sell a SA 5300 I have instead but if selling as part of a package would let it go. Alternatively would happily sell the SA 5300 instead for £45.
Speakers Kef Q15 - £40 - there is a small mark on one at the rear where wood shows but as they are black I think it could easily be tidied. Just picked up some Castle Clyde's which I prefer - again in part for the look but I did also prefer the sound of the Clydes a bit more.
I was listening to this (with SA 5300) at the weekend while I was putting my other bits and 5.1 system together - sounded very good to me. £260 all in or £225 with 5300.
If you are interested can take some photos this evening of the turntable and speakers - photos already available for SA7300 in sale post.

price of tt reduced to match offer I gave on wanted thread on other website (avforums which was turned down because out of budget). Thought I had asked £150 but just checked and it was £140 and wouldn't want to be asking more on here.
I have a Rotel RA-02, boxed with remote control and in excellent condition. I live on the Hants / West Sussex border. Feel free to message me if it's of interest.

I've got a pair of Wharfedale Crystal CR30.4 floor standers at £60. Might be a bit far for you in Oxfordshire.
I also have a cosmetically challenged Pioneer PL-512 with a Pickering cart, new belt and stylus for about £60.
