Okay, before I hang myself or my Misses hangs me, I have decided to move this on to a more patient person!

All brand new (yesterday) so perfect unused condition.

Raspberry Pi 2 Model B
IQaudio Pi DAC+
IQaudio black gloss case
Official Raspberry Pi power supply
Kingston 8GB Micro SD card

So the whole lot (apart from the knowledge) to get you going!

£90.00 including UK postage.

Shame Bill, I'm not that far from you, if you had put out a call for help I may have been able to assist...

Bummer. I've been looking to build a second one of these for the study system, with a DAC rather than a Digi output board.

Gosh! Think it would take me longer than that to get around to plugging it in!

You might get a 2nd chance as I've been reading what I need to do to get this to work, yikes! Anyway, I like a challenge but if I give up I'll drop you a message.

It's truely an exceptional bit of kit with oodles of room for even more improvement, shame Bill couldn't get it working. It is a bit fiddly but once it's up and running it's just their poised to play.

Neal,
Thanks for your message and the possibility of help. I should have known it wasn't my cup of tea, I'm terrible with computers and have no understanding of them.

It would be great to be able to buy the Pi already set up and be able to 'plug and play'.
Until then I'll carry on using my Sonos Connect, which is a doddle to use.

Cheers,
Bill

I'm sure someone like Gazjam (who I think is already into setting up music servers) could fill that gap.

Defo a wee opportunity for someone like Gaz... Anything that makes the Pi as popular as possible has got to be a good idea! The more widely used and acknowledged as being superb (which it is), the better

Sorry it didn't work out though, Bill. You win some, you lose some :)

Marco.
