I wanted to try vinyl again but my little experiment has had a few hiccups ! ...... (i) my stored record collection was not as I had hoped (ii) the stylus on my new turntable has now been damaged by 'small' hands --- it requires a new stylus.
I will revisit vinyl again for sure because of my 2 ( count them !) new lps I really enjoyed the sound but for now I need to move this on.
I think both of these items are close to mint -- in that I cant find any scratches etc on them BUT the stylus on the Ortofon Red cartridge does need replacing.
I have bought an upgraded platter
Its a great looking turntable and if you can count perhaps 10 sides in total as experience then I'd say it sounds good too.
I bought the t/table from a guy who used it to archive his vinyl collection and so his usage was about 50 hours in total I am told.
I have all original packaging for the t/table but not for the phono amp but it will be packaged very securely.
