Good Evening everyone,

With the posting of the May Album Club choice, the Album Club rota has come to an end. We are thus putting out a call for contributors for the next round. Ideally we are looking for at least seven volunteers to take us up to the end of the year.

Those of you who have already contributed are welcome to put your names forward, and those of you who have taken part in the Album Club and have posted comments might like to contribute as well.

For those of you who are unaware of the Album Club, it is a bit like the thread ‘Spinning Today’, whereby contributors choose an album they like, write a few words about it and why they like it and provide a YouTube, Spotify or Grooveshark link so that other members can listen to it, comment and vote on it. There is a new Album Club choice posted each month.

What we like to see are unusual, different and challenging suggestions. Any genre of music is welcome: classical, folk; rhythm and blues; jazz; pop; rock; soul; indie, electronica; world music…, – in fact anything at all!

So if you are interested and would like to contribute then send me your name by PM. You don’t need to make a choice straight away: you will be given a month’s notice, so will have plenty of time to prepare.

Also, don’t worry that your choice might be ridiculed and receive criticism, it might not be as popular as some, but we are always interested in discovering something new.

So how about it – any volunteers? Send me a PM if you are interested and would like to contribute.

Thank you

Regards
The Album Club

Seriously though

How about some classical music for a change. Nothing too heavy, Georges Enesco's - Romanian Rhapsody No. 1 conducted by Leopold Stokowski
