I have a Polk Audio one, it's very heavy and in a granite like material.

It was Tony from Central Audio's own surround sound system.

The package was fairly expensive when new, but just as you only want the centre, I'll sell it for £45 plus postage.

I have been advised to get a Ruark because i will be using it with my Crusader III's. I am tempted by the Polk Audio One though.

Not trying to pull the salesman bit on you, but I found out for myself that despite a number of people saying the centre and front left rights should be from the same maker, it's not true.

Unless they are all identical they will sound slightly different anyway, and if you think about it, the centre will be taking care of dialogue, while the rest usually provide effects and fill in sounds.

How much do you want to spend?
If you want an outstanding centre speaker which is excellent value for money have a look at the AVC Pro on the IPL Acoustics website. I agree with Craig. There is lot of marketing nonsense written about speaker matching. A good speaker is a good speaker!
