Hello, I am Remco and I live in the Netherlands. I have little money, but once (about 25 years ago) I had the money to buy HiFi. HiFi I learned to appreciate when visiting a HiFi fair; I was blown away by the sound I heard there! :) Since then, I had a longing to own such a system myself.
So, having the money, I bought my first set which consisted of a Marantz PM82 class A amplifier with a set of B&W 803's. Though both of quality, the speakers didn't match very well both with the power of my amplifier and the size of my accomodation. I played the set 25 years though. ;)
Becoming aware that my set wasn't optimal, I decided to buy another one last year, consisting of a Primare A30.1 amplifier and a set of Epos Epic 2 speakers, and Atlas and Triple M kabling. A totally different sound than the Marantz/B&W combination which, if properly matched, can sound very good too.
I was charmed by the sound of Primare I once heard, so that was the reason I bought the amplifier.
I like all kinds of music, but not hardrock nor gospel. Pop has my first interest, followed by blues, smooth jazz, funk, electro and a little classical.
Thanks for letting me be part of this forum, music lovers! :)
