Impressive! The sub doesn't bother the table being so close?

Thanks for the positive comments. :)

The subwoofer has been fine so far but to be honest I don't really drive it too hard. The hi-fi table helps to a degree aswell.

I like the sunset, or is it sunrise?

Very tidy. Are the drive units really red or is it just the light?

Nice system indeed.

Yes the speakers are great, I take it they are Dali's? - I had the DALI Helicon MKII's once... great speakers.

@ doodoos - I like how you dropped in a beautiful conundrum there:). I'm not too sure now you've mentioned it, could be either!

@ Macca - just as Anthony says there a sorta woodchip and are a dark brown/red.

@ Black Adder - yeah they are Dali Ikon 6 MKII's mate.

Thanks

Wasn't happy with the Mission Cyrus 1. I just bought it over a week ago and ended up with an issue. So instead of paying to post it back I just bought another amp to do the job...... can't help myself :D. Anyhow I received the Kenwood KA-5020 today and tried it out listening to John Carpenter's "Lost Themes" which i just picked up. Was pleasantly surprised !

Thanks all.

I would like to put another arcam in there Anthony, but I'm afraid my funds are a bit on the low side just now. I've got "The command Centre" also to attend to ;) ..........

I imagine those Dali really sound great, as I said my brother drives them with a Creek destiny 2 , very tight and punchy sound and very detailed

A few days ago I picked up a nice pair of Van Damme speaker cables off ebay, I had been using Qed cables prior to this but they looked well made and thought I'd give them a go. Then I removed my Kenwood amp in place for a dedicated mc phono stage that I got in the post today. It too is a brand I've never heard of, "Heed" , but after a thorough search on a few sites I picked it up. It really has opened up the sound, bass is punchier and I'm getting the benefits from my cartridge now. Here's a few picks of the swap over.

Hi all, I haven't been on the forum since a few months back, kinda done a runner from the PC due to stuff going pop! but it's back up and running and over the last few days I've been reading up on here.

So thought I'd get back on with an update. Done a bit of decorating and got rid or my scratchcard wallpaper. Geez when the fresh white paint goes on!

Couple of small additions being a Sonos Connect and an Audiolab Q-Dac which I got on sale for £199.
