System is; Technics sp10/SME V/ Ortofon OM40, Nakamichi CR7, Leak Troughline or Quad FM2, Pioneer A-09 into JBL L300's.
Lost interest in 'Pop' music when the drum machine came along and started listening to jazz and classical. Always seem to come back to early favourites; Joan Baez, Louis Armstrong and prog rock.

Hello David. Welcome to AOS.
Interesting system you have. I take it you have a fair amount of space, those JBLs ain't small! :)
Feel free to add equipment photos to our Gallery section. They'd be appreciated.
If you are planning any changes to your system, we'd like to hear about them.
Enjoy the forum,
Geoff.
Yes, Welcome to AoS David. Like a bit of Jazz and Joan myself.. Big JBL's; lucky you ...enjoy the forum.

Thanks for the welcome. I don't have much space so use the L300's as near field monitors!

Hello and welcome David.
Geoff.
Welcome to AoS David,
Some nice gear you have there - though the SP10/SME V deserves a better cartridge. Are those JBLs the ones with the foam 'chocolate bar' covers?
Joan Baez and Louis Armstrong? - Can't be bad! :)
Enjoy the Forum
Regards
Barry

No that's the L100. The L300 is about three times the size. Here:

Yes, that's them. Meaty beaty big and bouncy! Actually, they fit into a smallish room quite well.
I bought them about a year ago on a bit of a whim having read that Nelson Pass liked them and feeling that if they were good enough for him they would be good enough for me. He has designed a new crossover for them for which I have the components but haven't found time to build yet.
Regards David
