I am looking to upgrade my vinyl setup with a topnotch SUT and matching cartridge from Audio Note, so I have for sale my 18 month old Meitner MA-1 DAC.
It was designed by Ed Meitner, the leading expert on DSD and SACD. It was built in Calgary, Alberta and has an absolutely beautiful fit and finish. I have loaded the latest firmware, which has brought it (almost) up to the level of top turntables. I compared it to the Brinkmann Bardo when I bought it. This unit plays all files up to 24/192, as well as up to double DSD or 128X. This DAC was awarded the Soundstage! Product Of The Year in 2012.
New price is U.S. $7000. I am asking U.S. $4500 and I will pay ground shipping in the U.S.A. and Canada. I have the original box, manual and remote control. It will be double boxed for shipping.
