Just got my headamp back from Glenn.
Asked him to upgrade the electrolytics and connections and convert it to an external PSU.
The PSU is pretty much the same as the one for my 25R with the usual superb GC attention to detail and construction.
The upgrade has wrung even more out of the already superb headamp.
In particular bass is tighter and deeper and there is an overall "cleaning up" of the presentation which sounds "sharper" and more precise . There is a definite increased retrieval of low level detail.
There is zero noise/hum through the speakers with no source signal playing even with the volume pots wound fully up.
The second box also looks pretty cool on the stack IMO :cool:
