Close to where I live is 'The Fitties' at Humberston in Lincolnshire. Taken during 2004 using a Fuji GSW690 III loaded with Ilford Pan F+ which was developed using Paterson FX39.
This camera produces a negative that is six by nine centimeters which in digital megapixel terms would so large it would be a joke. There is no substitute for quality and digital black and white is massively lacking in that.

I used to use a couple of old German 6x9 folders. A Franka and a Balda, with very good lenses. I got some fine shots.

Another estuary shot taken during 2005 at 'The Fitties' of a line of old fence posts on Tetney Marsh. This time though I used 35mm film in a Nikon FM2n camera which was fitted at the time with a Nikon 50mm f1.2 AIS lens. Film was Ilford Delta 100 which was processed using Paterson Aculux II developer.

I remember those old folding German cameras and the serious quality they produced.

This is a shot taken today, 26th April, 2015 at a rather isolated and lonely spot called Donna Nook in Lincolnshire. This place is a military firing range and so is only really open to the public at weekends when we don't have wars. I love this place and would like my ashes scattered here after I have been cremated.
