Very nice Andras.. big speakers and a nice big room.
...I've blown it up for you
not the room, the pic
Very nice Andras! Are the ANJ's being driven by Solid state?
:doh:Oops nearly forgot, what is the finish on those J's?

Only kidding, Andras... Nice kit. You obviously like the 'minimalist' look? :)

Nice but why do people put amps on the floor?
Nice but why do people put amps on the floor?
Because they are heavy!:scratch::eek:

The Asians do that a lot, I understand if it's a concrete floor, but not if it's timber.

More minimalist (can you have "more" minimalism?) - funiture clogs up the room both visually and in terms of feeling of space.
Looking at the photo, the big expanse of uncluttered white wall is a feature in itself - I like it.

Thanks guys, thanks Grant with the pic.
yes the Js are driven by the single ended class A Firstwatt. and they love it.
the finish in the the speakers is satin maple. every side is mirror matched to the other speaker, it looks fantastic. i find the wet glossy look that AN does also very pretty, but the satin is more understated. :)
the amp is actually not on the floor, its on symposium rollerblock jrs on an SSC base . the das is also on rollerblocks on a big ikea butchers' block, that is on BDR cones. huh. :) i will eventually buy a double wide rack with two tiers but i havent gotten around to doing it yet. and yes, i do like the minimalist look. the floor is concrete. :)

With that big white wall I think I'd be tempted to have some big psychedelic mural, find some lsd and drift off to outer space :D

Nice but why do people put amps on the floor?
Cause they sound better:)

Find some LSD and the white wall will be a canvass for all sorts - no need for the mural.

It's not on the floor.

I bet those AN's sound soooooooo sweet on the end of the Firstwatt.
What are the small white bags on the floor for?
Think they go on speakers for resonance
That system seems to be crying out for a good analogue front end?:)

lol, the white bags are for tea candles (a sandwich bag with some sand in). it gives a very nice soft glow. perfect for listening.
the system is indeed crying for an analogue front end but thats a rabbit whole im trying to avoid. it would mean financial ruin. :)

Love the table .

Haha, yes i also always mix up move and love. Its from a german company called massivum, solid palisander, 40 kilos, perfect rack size, 270 euros. Its a coffee table according to them.
