I have been using a Cyrus PSXR with my Cyrus CD players/transports for years - in fact it was the oldest piece of kit I owned.
I noticed Fanthorpes in Hull were offering a generous trade in against the new 2015 PSXR2 so took a punt.
It arrived yesterday and has made a noticeable improvement in SQ. In particular bass is lower and better controlled but there is also an overall improvement in clarity and PRaT.
Now it may be my old PSXR was in need of a service but if anyone is considering getting a PSXR for their Cyrus kit I can fully recommend the new PSXR2.
