Now't expensive thanks but interested in the likes of QED Silver Anniversary, Van Damme Blue, Chord Carnival Silverscreen or similar priced cables

Ideally with banana plugs either end, max length needed is 2m really but 1.5m is better suited

What ya got? ;)

**EDIT** - Just found some QED Silver Anniversary so that's not needed!

I'd steer clear of QED Silver Anniversary. It's not nice. I found it one of the coarsest and grittiest sounding cables I've come across and I'm not the only one on AOS who thinks that.

Dont agree with the QED comments, had the cable plenty of times and with the right system it works very well indeed!

Cables will always be horses for courses...

Look further down the same thread Craig... it started at £30 in post #1 and was then reduced to £20 in post #11 and that is what Dan has paid... :rolleyes:

...and incidentally, I wasn't trying to pull a +£5 fast one, I was replying to the thread using my iPhone and quoted the wrong price...

i have some chord epic, 2 x 1.5 meters
was fitted with screw on chord banana plugs by sevenoaks who i bought it from.
looking for £45 delivered
i also have some Chord Carnival Silverscreen though it is around a two meter pair.
fitted with chord z plugs again by sevenoaks £25 delivered.
best pm me if your interested though the damm cable is good stuff.
i have also some silver breed speaker cable but i think it is nearly 3 meters pair.
pretty thick too though it has spades not banana.
that would be £40 delivered.
selling as i have collected to much cable over the years

All sorted for now thanks folks but will keep the other offers in mind

Will do an A-B test with the QED SA cable vs the Van Damme cable and take it from there :D

i like the damm cable myself as i found it more smooth.
qed tended to make my system more bright.
though in the right system it can do wonders.

Yeah, had the QED cable for years but with the likes of Arcam, NAD, B&W, Q Acoustics etc it generally works well... But with Cyrus, Monitor Audio et al it's a definite no-no!
